About Us
My name is Jamie Sell. I am an ICU RN, and I am also Austin Burke's mother.
I am from Trumbull County and travel to hospitals with staffing shortages all over Ohio and nearby states. My family and I attended my son's trial with an open mind. None of us, including Austin, thought that a wrongful conviction would be our reality. That was one of our first mistakes.
Even though the prosecutor admitted there was no real evidence, you can be convicted of a crime simply because somebody testifies they heard you say you did it. Even when those people have more reason to be looked at.
Over the last seven years , I have devoted all of my time to investigating my son's case.
This website is to bring attention to what happened in his case, and gather more info.
Since the trial we have uncovered a lot of evidence and new witnesses. We are always seeking more information. Please contact me if you know anything or have something to add.
